Write for us

We commission and consider original long-form work about Australian barbecue grills, outdoor kitchens and fire cookery. Pitches beat finished drafts.

Send a pitch to the contact desk or support@worldwidebacklinks.com. Put “Pitch:” and a working title in the subject. Tell us the hub it belongs in, the reader problem it solves, and why you are the person to write it.

What we want

  • 1,200 words or more of original reporting, method or criticism.
  • Australian English, metric measures, local conditions.
  • A point of view. “Ten best barbecues” lists without criteria will be declined.
  • Primary experience: you have cooked this, installed this, or spoken to people who have.
  • Descriptive links to our existing guides where they help the reader.

What we will not run

  • Spun, translated or previously published work.
  • Press releases dressed as reviews.
  • Medical, legal or insurance advice presented as fact.
  • Images you do not have the right to license. We prefer public-domain or Creative Commons photographs, credited.

Links and payment

Editorial mentions of products are not advertisements. If a piece is paid for, supplied, or exists mainly to pass a link, we disclose that on the page and mark the commercial links with rel="sponsored". We do not sell unmarked guest posts. Example of how a sponsored mention is written: a clearly labelled sponsored resource.

Read editorial standards before you pitch, and look at the article archive so you do not repeat a live guide.
